Understanding the procedure

What is Echo-Sclerosis?

Echo-sclerosis is an advanced technique where the physician uses an ultrasound device to visualize diseased veins located under the skin.

Guided by the image, they inject a sclerosing foam directly into the defective vein with millimeter precision. The foam pushes the blood away and adheres to the walls of the vein, causing it to close. The body then naturally eliminates the sealed vein.
